IT Specialist

Full Time - Remote/Hybrid

Reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity & Innovation, the IT Specialist is responsible for providing support for a variety of technology equipment and services across our 14 locations.

Working in our Help Desk environment, the IT Specialist will respond to helpdesk tickets to troubleshoot problems and support employees with such things as: system access, email, software applications/portals, IT equipment, printers, and mobile devices.

In addition, the IT Specialist will assist in maintaining a hybrid cloud server infrastructure, monitor and remediate cybersecurity alerts, and support patch management activities. The position will collaborate with the IT Team, service providers, vendors, and other internal departments on a regular basis.

Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Experience and strong knowledge in the following:

• Microsoft 365 Administration - SharePoint, Azure/Entra, Intune
• Windows Server 2019/22 - Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Print Server
• Networking concepts – Switching, Topologies, Cloud infrastructure
• Cybersecurity toolsets for RMM, EDR, AV, SIEM
• Cybersecurity best practices and NIST Framework

• Experience documenting issues, solutions, and best practices in a helpdesk system
• Proficient critical thinking, decision making and ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Proficient relationship building skills and ability to collaborate with external vendors
• Strong communications skills (oral, written, presentation, facilitation)
• Proficient understanding of compliance and privacy requirements
• Working knowledge and understanding of business and operational risk management best practices, and associated control processes and procedures.
