Community Impact Officer
Full Time - Hybrid/Remote
Reporting to the Manager, CSR and Brand Marketing the Community Impact Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and works closely with various departments to integrate CSR into policies, practices and operations while ensuring alignment with the credit unions values, goals and the needs of its stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- A post-secondary degree, ideally related to project management, social impact, sustainability or other related fields.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience working with CSR, sustainability or community related initiatives; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills and a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and working ability with all levels of the organization
- Proficient in project management, including planning, implementation and evaluation of CSR initiatives
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office tools
- Committed to increasing their knowledge and growth through continuous learning activities
- Experienced and adept at managing change
- Skilled problem solver and sound decision maker
